LAKEWOOD, N.J., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lightstone Malls, owned and operated by the Lightstone Group today announced that they have signed a lease with national operator Carmike Cinemas, Inc. at Shawnee Mall in Shawnee, Okla.

Carmike Cinemas, Inc. is a leader in digital cinema and 3-D cinema deployments and one of the nation's largest motion picture exhibitors. Carmike's focus for its theatre locations is small to mid-sized communities with populations of fewer than 100,000. The theatre plans to open in early spring of 2010.

The Shawnee Mall is located just 40 minutes from neighboring Oklahoma City. Shawnee Mall encompasses 325,000 people who live among 27 zip codes within six counties. Shopping favorites include American Eagle Outfitters, The Buckle, Maurices and Bath & Body Works, Old Navy and Santa Fe Cattle Co. Restaurant. In addition, to the theatre, Buffalo Wild Wings, one of the hottest national brand restaurateurs in the country is currently under fall construction and will open in early spring of 2010.
