Angelina Jolie Stuns In Dress By Kate Middleton's Favorite Designer Jenny Packham

Angelina Jolie shares the same taste in fashion as Kate Middleton.

The "Maleficent" star has recently been adding some new twists to her usual all-black dress code. Continuing her new fashion trend, Jolie looked chic and fab in a satin gown by Jenny Packham when she graced the Hollywood Film Awards on Monday. She accessorized her elegant gown with Tiffany & Co jewelry and a bold crimson lip, Evening Standard reported.

Jolie's ensemble, which is reportedly worth $3,650, is from Packham's Fall 2017 collection that is "inspired by what it means to be British." It is cut from liquid silver satin-crepe that wraps gently around the body, with a thigh-grazing split that creates ripples in the fabric.

The publication noted that the designer of Jolie's ensemble is Middleton's favorite. The Duchess of Cambridge is a loyal fan of the British designer. In fact, it is believed that she has helped Packham make her gowns a red carpet go-to for the celebrities.

Prince William's wife has been spotted wearing Packham's designs in numerous occasions. Middleton's blue polka dot dress when she was photographed leaving the hospital after delivering Prince George is designed by Packham. The ensembles she wore during the state reception in New Zealand, gala dinner at the Royal Albert Hall and the 10th annual ARK Gala dinner at Kensington Palace were all created by the same designer.

"I absolutely work directly with Kate, it's always quite the collaboration!" Packham said of working with Middleton, adding that she thinks the royal mom's style is "great" and "very British."

Middleton and Packham's partnership has been mutually beneficial for both of them. It has established Middleton as a style icon and has made Packham an A-list favorite designer.

In related news, Jolie has made some big changes in her style. On Saturday, the celebrity mom showed off her legs in a black turtleneck mini-dress when she met her fans in Los Angeles. The "Changeling" star paired it with black bootie heels and dark sunglasses.

Prior to this, Jolie stood out in a yellow dress when she attended the Asian World Film Fest in Culver City on Nov. 30. During the event, she received the Rising Star Award for Sreymoch Sareum, who played the role of Loung Un in "First They Killed My Father," which she directed.
