SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) - It's time to say farewell to a few dozen titles leaving Netflix's streaming service in July. The list contains films I recommended when they first arrived on the platform like "Tropic Thunder" and "V for Vendetta" and entire series for the Bring It On and Lethal Weapon franchises.

Before Midnight

In 2013 director Richard Linklater and stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy released "Before Midnight," the third film in a series that follows the love story of a pair of young strangers, one an American and the other French, who initially met while in Vienna. This film reconnects with the characters nearly 20 years after their initial meeting and examines the strength and strain that comes from years of navigating life and the shifting shape of love.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

There are aspects of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" that haven't aged well (particularly Mickey Rooney's performance as I. Y. Yunioshi), but for the most part, this charming drama is a delight as Audrey Hepburn offers up the performance that she is most famous for. Her performance is so convincing as socialite Holly Golightly that many have wrongfully assumed that Hepburn shared the character's temperament when, in fact, Hepburn was far more reserved. Changeling

Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Angelina Jolie, "Changeling" was released in 2008 and while it received a warm welcoming at the Cannes Film Festival, it wasn't embraced by mainstream critics. I found the film to be a fascinating story about a mother who is reunited with her missing son only to quickly realize that they boy that has been delivered to her is not her son. Her attempts to convince local authorities of the mistake eventually leads to her being declared unfit to be a parent and sent to psychiatric ward.

Those who prefer Jolie in action films, rather than dramas, should note that "Wanted" is also leave Netflix in mid-July (Leaving 7/16/18)
