Release Date: Jan. 17 (US/UK), Jan. 16 (AU)It's been almost 17 years Will Smith and Martin Lawrence last teamed up for a Bad Boys movie. We'll soon find out if the Bad Boys crew can still work that over-the-top magic.Dolittle

After languishing ion retirement for seven years, Doolittle is called back into action when the Queen falls ill and he's sent to a remote island in search of a cure. And with Ben Schwartz voicing Sonic and Jim Carrey doing his zany thing as Dr. Robotnik, there's a chance this one could actually escape the video game movie curse.Fantasy Island
Release Date: Feb. 14 (US/UK), TBA (AU)While technically a cinematic update to the classic 1977 TV series, Fantasy Island is venturing far off the beaten path. This version applies a horror movie formula to the story of a wealthy resort owner making his guests' dreams come true. Michael Peña stars as the mysterious Mr. Roarke, with Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, and Michael Rooker. Plus, it's a Blumhouse Productions release, so that bodes well for this unusual remake. The Call of the Wild
Release Date: Feb. 21 (US), Feb. 14 (UK), Feb. 20 (AU)This is hardly the first Hollywood adaptation of Jack London's iconic 1903 novel, but it does have several things working in its favor. For one, it stars Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford, as prospector and outdoorsman John Thornton. The film also features a fully CGI version of the story's canine hero, Buck (with Terry Notary performing motion capture work). That should be enough to put a fresh spin on a familiar story.Bloodshot

Before returning to the Fast & Furious franchise, Diesel will star in this adaptation of the Valiant Entertainment comic book series about a superhuman assassin whose memories are manipulated by his handlers. Release Date: Mar. 20 (US/UK), TBA (AU)2018's A Quiet Place proved to be one of the more pleasant horror movie surprises in a long time, so we're hopeful the sequel can recapture that same magic. Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou join the cast of the sequel.
Mulan
Release Date: Mar. 27 (US/UK), Mar. 26 (AU)1998's Mulan is the latest Disney animated movie getting the live-action remake treatment. Mulan looks to be a more ambitious overhaul than most, trimming the musical elements and romance subplot in favor of a historical war drama approach. The impressive cast also includes Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, and Jet Li.The New Mutants
Release Date: Apr. 3 (US), Apr. 8 (UK), TBA (AU)The very last X-Men movie of the pre-Marvel Studios era is scheduled for release in April. Given the significant delays and the complete lack of marketing for this spinoff, we're not even sure Disney will stick to this release date. Whether it finally reaches theaters or simply shows up on Hulu with zero fanfare, we're looking forward to finally seeing this horror-centric take on the franchise. Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt and Alice Braga star in this tale about a group of young mutant heroes imprisoned in a remote and seemingly haunted facility.Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway

No Time to Die will also introduce Lashana Lynch's Nomi, a rookie 00 agent some are speculating may become the new face of the franchise after Craig hangs up his tuxedo. This prequel also introduces David Harbour's Red Guardian and two other Black Widows played by Florence Pugh and Rachel Weisz. Release Date: May 15 (US/UK), TBA (AU)The long-running Saw franchise is returning for a ninth installment, but don't expect a simple retread of the usual formula. The Saw-less title alone suggests a very different approach to this blood-soaked series, though it won't be a full reboot. Based on a story pitch from star Chris Rock, The Organ Donor brings back Saw II-IV director Darren Lynn Bousman and also inducts Samuel L. Jackson into the franchise.

Nolan is shaking things up in more ways than one, collaborating with a new editor (Jennifer Lame) and composer (Ludwig Göransson) and working with a mostly new-to-Nolan cast of actors that includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy and Kenneth Branagh.
