'F*** with me, bring your A game': Gwyneth Paltrow challenges Goop detractors in magazine interview
Gwyneth Paltrow defended her lifestyle brand Goop against its detractors in a new magazine interview published Wednesday.
The 44-year-old actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she's become the target for her lifestyle brand that recently expanded with a quarterly magazine.
Paltrow noted that her 'dear friend' Reese Witherspoon has managed to leverage her stardom to help promote her clothing brand Draper James, but the opposite was the case for Goop.

'You become inextricably linked. I'm a target in a way most entrepreneurs are not,' said Paltrow who said she's putting acting on the back burner to focus on Goop.
Paltrow then challenged her brand's critics: 'I'm interested in criticism based on fact, not on projections. If you want to f*** with me, bring your A game.'
The Oscar-winning actress, however, did admit to THR that being famous does have its advantages.
'It's also a blessing when we need to leverage my celebrity — it opens doors,' she conceded.

'I don't know many young entrepreneurs who can call [Disney CEO] Bob Iger, [Facebook COO] Sheryl Sandberg or [Airbnb founder] Brian Chesky, and they are kind enough to waste a little bit of their day to help me. So in that respect, my celebrity has been a huge asset,' she said.
Paltrow also admitted it was tricky balancing being an actress and business owner and cited flying back and forth from Los Angeles to Atlanta to film Avengers 4.
'Balls are dropping all the time. But honestly, I was on set and thought, "You sit here for two hours sipping tea, Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle are making me laugh hysterically — why the hell did I give this up?"

The mother of two also revealed that she's working on a new Goop TV show.
The Country Strong star confirmed a program with the working title The Radical Wellness Show is currently in development.
'I would be going into the field and talking to any number of doctors, scientists, civilians, people in crisis in Flint, Michigan, where there is something to uncover and confront about wellness,' she said.

Paltrow added that it would not be an 'Oprah-style' show.
'We would want it to feel more Vice-y in its vibe, but we're just in the brainstorming phase.'
She revealed she had hired production company Propagate to help formalize and pitch it, which is run by Ben Silverman, the Emmy-winning exec producer behind The Office, Jane The Virgin, Ugly Betty, The Tudors and The Biggest Loser.
'We want to take Goop international, we want to get this TV show right, and we have a lot of key hires to make,' she added.
Paltrow also confirmed she plans to eventually expand into Goop spas and hotels.
