We've become accustomed to seeing Benedict Cumberbatch puzzling out mysteries as Sherlock or studying the mystic arts as Doctor Strange in the MCU, but now the star has proven that he can do more than just act.

He can dance.

Turns out, Benedict Cumberbatch has some moves.

Benedict spent last night (February 27) hosting the 2018 Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco, and when French dance duo Les Twins joined him on stage, it wasn't long before he was showing off his dance skills.

And yes, he dabbed.

The Laureus World Sports Awards honour individuals and teams from the world of sports, with last night's big awards of sportsman and sportswoman of the year going to Roger Federer and Serena Williams respectively.

This year marks the third time that Benedict has hosted the awards, and with performances like this one, we can't say we blame them for inviting him back again and again.

When he's not winning over audiences with his dancing, Benedict has been titillating Marvel fans by hinting that the MCU will introduce the Multiverse.

"What we've seen happen within the Marvel Cinematic Universe is this ever-expanding couture of superheroes," he said in the Thor: Ragnarok special feature 'Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years – The Evolution of Heroes'.

"And I think now we're at the stage where this universe, even within our world, has gotten quite crowded and it's just about to explode into other dimensions."

With more than 20 films currently planned to make their debut in MCU over the next few years after Avengers 4 premieres, a Multiverse would certainly be one way of ensuring that the films have plenty of material to explore.

Before we get too far ahead of ourselves though, we still have Avengers: Infinity War to go – in which Doctor Strange apparently plays a "key part" too.

We'll find out more when the film is released on April 27, 2018 in the UK and May 4, 2018 in the US.
