Guns Akimbo: Trailer

Daniel Radcliffe is continuing in his journey to move as far away from Harry Potter as possible with huge success.

New film Guns Akimbo might be his wildest film yet – an action comedy in which he plays a video game developer who discovers he’s a participant in a death match that’s being live streamed on te internet.

His character wakes up with a pair of guns bolted to his hands and is forced to kill his way out.

The film’s official synopsis reads: “Director Jason Lei Howden (Deathgasm) foretells of a future that may soon await us: drone-captured live feeds, UFC-like competitions pushed to an extreme, and online streaming platforms used for gladiatorial entertainment all around the world. As Miles navigates the underworld of Skizm, the stakes — and the ratings — have never been higher.”

Guns Akimbo also stars Samara Weaving and Ned Dennehy.

Ever since completing the Harry Potter films, Radcliffe has made some interesting career choices and appeared in a variety of unique indies.

Films he’s starred in include Horns, Swiss Army Man and Imperium.
