The release dates for Black Panther 2, Spider-Man 3 and Captain Marvel 2 have been revealed by Marvel.

The franchise released the news in a new video entitled Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies.

The video reveals that the Black Panther sequel will be named Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

But the Mirror Online reports we have a while to wait: the new film will be released on July 8, 2022.

Captain Marvel 2 is now known as The Marvels and will be released on November 11, 2022.

Spider-Man 3, which will be called No Way Home, will be released on December 17 this year.

Elsewhere, Eternals will be released on November 5 this year and Doctor Strange: In The Mutltiverse of Madness is out March 25.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be issued on May 6.

Some fans will have to wait years for the return of their favourites. We will have to hold on until February 17, 2024 for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Auantumania.

In addition, May 5 of that year will see the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.

The new Marvel trailer shows footage of previous Marvel films in an effort to remind viewers how much fun the cinema used to be.

There are also teaser clips of Black Widow, which will be released in July, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which will be released in September.

It also gives a sneak peek of Eternals, which stars Salma Hayek, Richard Madden and Angelina Jolie.

The video ends with the words: "See you at the movies."
