Khloe Kardashian proved celebrities are just like us after she was left publicly swooning over a photo of Leonardo DiCaprio from yesteryear.

The Good American founder, 36, was left blushing over a shot of the Oscar winning actor when he starred in Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.

The 46-year-old actor became an instant heartthrob starring as lead Romeo in the 1996 screen adaptation of the Shakespeare.

In the shot, which was shared on Instagram account @90sanxiety, Leonardo is pictured in Romeo’s knight in shining armor costume for a masquerade ball hosted by his family’s foes, the Capulets.

The photo captures Romeo’s face as he realises Juliet, the girl who he fell in love, is in fact the daughter of the Capulets, his family the Montagues’ nemesis.

Leonardo was just 21 when he filmed the classic opposite a 17-year-old Claire Danes as Juliet. Paul Rudd, John Leguizamo, Harold Perrineau and Miriam Margolyes also starred in the flick.

The shot, which was posted on Sunday, was simply captioned: “Romeo + Juliet, October 1996”.

Noticeably the picture piqued Khloe’s attention as she commented: “Swoooooon” under the throwback snap.

The KUWTK star's comment comes after admits she was "frustrated" by sister Kourtney's decision to shield her most recent partners from the cameras during Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The hit reality TV show has come to an end after 14 years and 20 seasons and Khloe, 36, has aired her thoughts in a reunion episode.

The reality star called Kourtney, 42, out for being much more reserved in the latter seasons.

It came after host Andy Cohen questioned whether Khloe thought she was one of the few family members who were truly an open book while the cameras were rolling.

She replied: "There's been times that I think that was maybe what I was going through, because you could also say Kourtney and Scott at the beginning, it was so much was about them but maybe there wasn't as much going on in other peoples' lives.

"Kim and I have had this conversation really openly. It's that we feel like we give so much and maybe others aren't holding up their end of the deal too."

Khloe added it's no use creating drama if there isn't any there in the first place, but admitted she felt it was "unfair" if people chose not to share events they were going through.

Speaking about Kourtney's most recent love life escapades, Khloe admitted: "We weren't even allowed to talk about it.

"We're not saying to put him on, but Kourtney wouldn't even let us mention him."

And she described it as being "frustrating" because there were already paparazzi photos circulating regarding her sister's love interests.

Kourtney and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker's love life has been a hugely public event with the pair regularly sharing PDA posts on social media.
