Coven of Chaos Should Revive Agatha's Fighting Skills

While the underwhelming fight between Wanda and Agatha during the WandaVision finale left a lot to be desired, this BTS video shows off a more acrobatic and entertaining fighting style for the formidable sorceress. With her spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos currently in production, this deleted WandaVision scene provides a basic blueprint for how the spinoff could spotlight a slicker fighter style for Agatha. Since the sorceress will be the main star of the spinoff series as opposed to an adversary, who wasn't even revealed until episode 7, there's a good chance Agatha: Coven of Chaos showcases some improved action from its titular witch.

Everything We Know About Agatha's WandaVision Spinoff

A spinoff of WandaVision, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to explore the fallout from Wanda's actions in Westview, including trapping Agatha in her Agnes persona. It's unclear where the spinoff series will go from there as plot details for Agatha: Coven of Chaos remain under wraps for the time being. WandaVision's head writer Jac Schaeffer has returned for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, suggesting the spinoff will not fail to honor the events of WandaVision, which was one of the main criticisms of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos will see the return of multiple WandaVision characters, including Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis and Emma Caulfield Ford as Sarah Proctor. On the other hand, Heartstopper's Joe Locke and Parks and Recreation alum Aubrey Plaza are among the newcomers cast in undisclosed roles, the latter of whose is described as a key character. Agatha: Coven of Chaos is still without a release date, though it is expected to premiere in late 2023 as a part of Phase Five. With the series currently in production, more updates should be coming soon.
