Amman– The "Pakistani Film Days" event will kick off next Friday evening at the Rainbow Cinema.
The event is organized by the Royal Film Commission – Jordan, in collaboration with the Pakistani Embassy in Jordan.
According to a statement issued by the commission on Tuesday, the three-day event will open with the screening of the 2018 adventure-drama feature film Motorcycle Girl, directed by Adnan Sarwar. The film won the Best Actress award at the 18th Lux Style Awards.
The event will also feature the 2024 sports-drama feature film Nayab, directed by Umair Nasir Ali.
This film has won several awards, including the Diploma Prize at the Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" in 2024, as well as Best Foreign Film and Best Debut Director awards at the Cannes World Film Festival in the same year.
The event will conclude on the third day with the romantic drama feature film No Crying, directed by Momina Duraid and Shehzad Kashmiri, released in 2015.
The film received multiple awards, including Best Actress at the Lux Style Awards 2016 and the Masala Awards the same year, and was nominated for two other awards.
