Rumer Willis, the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has posed wearing her mother’s famous Striptease bikini.
The 36-year-old actress looked relaxed in the golden and gem-encrusted bikini while wearing some black high heels 30 years after Demi, 62, wore it in an iconic scene from the 1996 film.
Also starring Burt Reynolds, Armand Assante, Robert Patrick and Ving Rhames, Demi portrayed a mother Erin Grant, who – on losing custody rights to her daughter Angela, played by a then 7-year-old Rumi – needs to make money fast to fight her ex-husband’s legal case.
In order to raise the funds, Erin takes a job dancing at the Eager Beaver strip club in Miami.
In one iconic scene, Erin struts out onto the stage and rips a white shirt off, unveiling the gold bikini that her daughter now stands in29 years on.
Rumer’s trip down fashion memory lane comes as the bikini is going up for auction on May 4 at studioauctions.com with bidding starting at $5,000 (£3.87).

Demi, who was married to Die Hard actor Bruce at the time of Striptease, has previously talked about the backlash she got for the movie.
The role made Demi Hollywood’s highest paid actress at the time, with a $12.5m (£9.29m) pay cheque for her efforts on the film – a figure which was highly publicised at the time.
While it rocketed women to new financial heights, the salary – which was still $2m (£1.55m) less than Bruce got paid for Die Hard with a Vengeance – Demi received fierce backlash for her job.

‘The narrative quickly became, “Well, she’s only getting paid that number because she’s playing a stripper.” It hit me really hard. But at the same time, I understood that anybody who steps out first is going to take the hit. That goes for anybody challenging the status quo,’ recalled Demi in a discussion about Striptease on The New York Times’ The Interview Podcast last year.
‘I think the interesting piece is that when I became the highest-paid actress — why is it that, at that moment, the choice was to bring me down?’ she asked, adding: ‘I don’t take this personally. I think anyone who had been in the position that was the first to get that kind of equality of pay would probably have taken a hit. But because I did a film that was dealing with the world of stripping and the body, I was extremely shamed.’

At the time Demi wondered why on earth she shouldn’t earn as much as her then-husband, Bruce, now 69, when she put in the same work. The actress also remembered sparking a similar outrage for her Vanity Fair photoshoot, which she did pregnant.
‘I didn’t understand why it was such a big deal, why women when they were pregnant needed to be hidden? Why is it that we have to deny that we had sex? That’s the fear, right, that if you show your belly, that means, oh, my gosh, you’ve had sex,’ she told the US outlet.
The bikini auction comes as Demi and her blended family are adapting to a new reality after Bruce’s dementia diagnosis.
Demi – who was married to Bruce from 1987 and 2000 with whom she shares three daughters; Rumer, Scout, 33 and Tallulah, 31 – recently updated fans on their relationship through this difficult time.
While both have moved on since their relationship, they have remained close.

‘We will always be a family, just in a different form,’ the Ghost actress told Variety. ‘For me, there was never a question. I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love.’

Bruce married Emma Heming Willis in 2009, while Demi was married to Ashton Kutcher between 2005 and 2013.
This awards season Demi has been showered with praise for her role in The Substance, proving she’s not just a ‘popcorn actress’ – which is one of the unfair criticisms she’s received in the past.
While she was denied the best actress Oscar over the weekend for her efforts, Demi has scooped prizes at major awards shows including the Golden Globe Awards, Critics Choice Awards and SAG Awards.
