LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across Kentuckiana.

Here are a selection of events, markets, concerts and more happening Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6, 2025.

With heavy rain in the forecast and anticipated flooding along the Ohio River, some of these events could be rescheduled or canceled. Head to each event's webpage or social media, linked in each listing below, for updates.

Disney On Ice: Magic in the Stars

Your favorite Disney characters are returning to the ice rink in Louisville.

Louisville Taco Week

The official Louisville Taco Week returns for its sixth year this week, from Mar. 31 to Apr. 6. The special event brings you $2.50 tacos (minimum 3).

Participating restaurants are offering specialty tacos the whole week, with some restaurants offering up to three different taco options.

For seven days, taco lovers will have the opportunity to visit participating Louisville Taco Week locations.

The same people who organized Louisville Burger WeekLouisville Pizza Week, and Louisville Restaurant Week want people to embrace the food and culture of Louisville while getting them out to try new taco and margarita offerings around the city.

Plan your taco adventure with the official Taco Week app, available in the App Store and on Google Play. It has the full list of restaurants, taco specials, locations, hours of operation and more.

Check in at four or more participating locations on the official Louisville Taco Week app, and be entered to win the grand prize of $250 in gift cards and El Jimador swag.

Louisville Ballet's Cinderella

The Louisville Ballet will present its "enchanting rendition" of the beloved classic, "Cinderella," this weekend in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Louisville. 

There are two performances scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

It will also be performed Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m.

The show promises to captivate audiences with "breathtaking choreography, stunning sets, and an unforgettable score, bringing a timeless fairy tale to life."

Singin' in the Rain

The saying "grab your umbrellas" takes on a whole new meaning with this weekend's forecasted heavy rain as Derby Dinner Playhouse in Clarksville, Indiana, presents its first weekend of the musical "Singin' in the Rain" this Saturday and Sunday.

The musical takes place in the golden age of Hollywood in the 1920s, filled with "show-stopping dance numbers and memorable music."

The production runs through May 18, Tuesdays through Sunday evenings, with Sunday and Wednesday matinees.

Mint Julep Month Tour & Tasting Experience

Celebrate Spring in Louisville and the upcoming Derby season with a mint julep tour and tasting experience.

The tour and tasting experience is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, but runs every Saturday through April 27 at Bourbon Barrel Foods on Story Avenue in Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood.

Admission costs $25, not including add-ons and fees.
