Shah Rukh Khan and his family have moved out of their iconic Mumbai home, Mannat, due to ongoing renovations. The family is now residing in a lavish apartment located in the Pali Hill area of Bandra. The new residence, part of the Puja Casa building, has been leased from film producer Vashu Bhagnani and is expected to serve as their temporary home for approximately two years.
The Khan family, including wife Gauri Khan and children Suhana, Aryan, and Abram, will occupy four floors of the building, which has also been designed to accommodate their security personnel and staff. The family’s new residence is said to offer ample space, though it is not as spacious as their historic Mannat. The total rent for the four floors is reportedly ₹24 lakh per month.
Sources suggest that the renovation work at Mannat, a Grade III heritage structure, is slated to begin in May. The extensive renovations include a long-planned extension of the bungalow, which required court approval due to the heritage status of the property.
Shah Rukh Khan’s relocation to the Bandra apartment follows a leave-and-licence agreement with Bhagnani's family, who co-own the Puja Casa property. Fans of the superstar have already begun gathering outside his temporary residence, eagerly awaiting glimpses of their favourite actor in his new abode.
