Peter Wright tops European Tour darts appearances list — full country-by-country breakdown

The PDC European Tour launched in 2012 with just five tournaments. Since then, it has grown into a key part of the darts calendar, with the 2025 season featuring 14 events spread across Germany, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Switzerland.

When it comes to all-time appearances on the European Tour, no player can match Peter Wright. The 55-year-old Scotsman has competed in 131 Euro Tour events — the most of any player. Known for his colourful hairstyles and vibrant personality, “Snakebite” has also captured nine European Tour titles throughout his career.

The Netherlands is represented at the top of the list by Michael van Gerwen. The three-time World Champion has made 122 appearances and has been dominant on this circuit, claiming a staggering 38 titles. "Mighty Mike" remains one of the most successful players in Euro Tour history by both appearances and silverware.

Dave Chisnall leads the way for England. “Chizzy” has featured in 115 European Tour events and won eight titles, firmly establishing himself as one of the most consistent players on the circuit over the years.

Northern Ireland’s Daryl Gurney follows with 95 appearances, and although he has yet to lift a Euro Tour title, his regular presence highlights his status at the top level.

Australia’s Simon Whitlock, a long-time fan favourite, has made 87 appearances, while Wales is represented by Gerwyn Price, who has played in 86 events. Both players have been fixtures on the European Tour over the past decade.

Austria’s Mensur Suljović has also clocked up an impressive 85 appearances, while Belgium’s Kim Huybrechts — the top Belgian on the list — has played in 84 events. “The Hurricane” has celebrated two European Tour titles, having won the Dutch Darts Masters in 2013 and the European Darts Grand Prix in 2015.

Further down the list, Germany’s Martin Schindler (68 appearances) and Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski (66) underline the increasing influence of mainland European players in recent years.

Ireland’s William O’Connor (41), Portugal’s José de Sousa (36), Latvia’s Madars Razma (34), Spain’s Cristo Reyes (31), South Africa’s Devon Petersen (23) and Czech Republic’s Karel Sedláček (19) round out a diverse lineup of players who have carried their nations’ hopes on the Euro Tour stage.

The growing spread of countries represented — from South Africa to Australia and across Europe — reflects just how global the European Tour has become since its inception. With the Euro Tour continuing this weekend at the 2025 European Darts Grand Prix, another chance for success presents itself in Sindelfingen.
