Nicole Kidman showed off a glamorous transformation while supporting her husband at the Academy of Country Music Awards following her unrecognizable appearance at the Met Gala

Nicole Kidman showed off a new look at the Academy of Country Music Awards as she supported her husband Keith Urban.

The star stood alongside Urban as she rocked a long hairdo, styled straight and sleek to her head. She paired the new hairdo with a black leather set, which matched her beau's black suit. Urban is set to receive the ACM Triple Crown Award tonight to honor his years of dedication to American country music.

Fans were shocked as the appearance comes just days after Kidman took the Met Gala by storm, looking unrecognizable in a different hairdo. The legendary actress sported a slicked back pixie cut with dark brown roots peeking through for fashion's biggest night on Monday, May 5.

The star caught fans off guard with the dramatic makeover, as she is known for her signature long blonde hair. Her look for the Met, themed "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," included a long black gown with two ruffle details at the waist designed by Balenciaga.

The dress ended at her ankles as she showed off Mary Jane heels with a pointed toe and black stockings.

But fans were caught up on her hair, as they chatted about the never-before-seen look from the Hollywood big name.

"Haircut looks great!!" one wrote under the A-lister's post. Another said, "Omg, your hair! You look absolutely gorgeous. Full focus on your beautiful face." "HAIR IS HAIRING," a third commented.

"THAT HAIRCUT IS PERFECT ON YOU," a fourth fan gushed.

Kidman's hairstylist Adir Abergel shared an explanation behind the look on Instagram, sharing the inspiration came from the theme.

"The inspiration was a tailored short cut that brought out the essence of Dandyism on Nicole Kidman," he wrote. "I wanted to celebrate this year's theme by honoring the Dandies and their individuality, elegance, and confidence—where every detail is tailored to that unique person."

Now, during the May 8th ACM ceremony, fans are noticing that the star's lengthy blonde locks have returned. "Nicole Kidman's long hair is back tonight at the ACM Awards," one person noted.

"Yesss I see you Nicole Kidman," someone else praised.

The 2025 Met Gala marked Kidman's sixth trip the to event between 2003 and today.

This year's Met Gala also marked the first time the blonde bombshell walked the Met steps without her husband by her side.
