On her 34th birthday, former Drag Race Mexico co-host Valentina Xunaxi made the heartfelt announcement that she is a transgender woman. She marked the occasion by posting a series of stunning photographs on Instagram.

In the photos, Valentina looked radiant with her long, wavy hair and full glam makeup, wearing a simple yet elegant spaghetti strap top and black trousers. Her message, written in both English and Spanish, read: "Hello everyone, it's me Valentina Xunaxi. Today is my birthday. I turn 34. The comment section was instantly filled with support from fans and friends alike. Bianca Del Rio wished her a happy birthday with a simple yet loving message: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY! LOVE, NANA."

Jaida Essence Hall also chimed in, saying: "Happy birthday beautiful! ! ! Love you!" A drag queen expressed their admiration in Spanish, writing: "Awww you are so beautiful. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVERRRRRR."

Other notable names from the Drag Race community who extended their support included Michelle Visage, Detox, and Jewels Sparkles, reports the Mirror.

A host of other Drag Race personalities, including Amanda Tori Meating, DeJa Skye, Monet X Change, Peppermind, Farrah Moan, Shea Coulee, June Jambalaya, CoCo Montrese, and Tammie Brown, also voiced their support for Valentina. In 2019, Valentina publicly identified as nonbinary during a conversation with Out.

She expressed: "I identify as nonbinary. I don't completely feel like a man, I don't completely feel like a woman. I feel like a goddess. I feel like I'm my own gender."

That same year, she took on the role of Angel in Rent Live, a character often perceived as transgender or genderfluid.

Valentina was relatively new to the drag scene, performing in LA nightclubs for less than a year, when she landed a spot on season nine of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2017. Fast forward to 2023, and she co-hosted the inaugural season of Drag Race México.

One unforgettable moment from her Drag Race journey was her elimination in episode nine against Nina Bo'Nina Brown, following a lip sync battle to Ariana Grande's hit 'Greedy'.

Adding to the drama, Valentina, who was sporting a face mask as part of her ensemble, refused to take it off for the lip sync performance, creating a viral sensation among fans.

Despite finishing in seventh place and winning only one challenge, Valentina won the hearts of viewers who voted her Miss Congeniality.
