Arrested YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra Visited Pahalgam, Was In Touch With Pak Agents, Reveals Probe
YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra had allegedly visited Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir before the terror attack there claimed 26 lives. Investigations into her alleged spying case are on.
As the investigations into YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s alleged case of spying for Pakistan continue, it is now being learnt that Jyoti visited Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir three months before the terror attack there in April this year.
It has also been revealed that Jyoti was honey-trapped by a Pakistani High Commission employee, identified as Danish, who is believed to be associated with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Jyoti was arrested on charges of passing on sensitive information to the ISI.
The revelations were made by Shesh Paul Vaid, former Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Is it a coincidence that u tuber Jyoti Malhotra who was honey trapped by Danish ,a Pakistani High Commission employee ( most probably ISI person) visited Pahalgam in January 2025? She was reportedly passing on sensitive information to ISI handlers," (sic), he wrote on X.
“Our intelligence services normally keep under surveillance those frequently visiting the countries or High Commissions of anemy nations like Pakistan, China and now Bangladesh," (sic), he added.

Jyoti was arrested on May 17 on the charge of passing on sensitive information to Pakistani intelligence operatives.
The police found that Malhotra, who runs a YouTube channel, Travel with JO, and hails from Hisar in Haryana, had visited Puri in September 2024 and came in contact with a woman in the coastal town, who is also a YouTuber, news agency PTI quoted Puri SP Vinit Agrawal as saying.
Jyoti, whose YouTube channel and Instagram account have 3.77 lakh subscribers and 1.33 lakh followers respectively, allegedly was in contact with a Pakistani staffer working at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi.
On May 13, India had expelled that Pakistani official for allegedly indulging in espionage.
The woman in Puri had also travelled to Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan recently, the SP said.
Five other people were also arrested along with Jyoti, for allegedly spying on India and providing information to Pakistan’s ISI since the launch of Operation Sindoor.
The police said that all of those arrested people were in constant contact with the ISI and provided information to the enemy.
