It's time to vote for the Detroit Free Press Girls Prep Athlete of the Week for May 11-17.
This week's poll features four players — two in track and field, one in soccer and one in tennis.
Voting will be open until 11:59 a.m. Thursday, May 22. We will announce the winner here shortly after the poll closes.

Nevaeh Burns, track and field, Oak Park: The sophomore sprinter and defending 400-meter state champion contributed to Oak Park's top relay times in the 4x200 (1:40.02) and 4x400 (3:48.42). Burns also finished with the top 200m time (24.84) and 400m time (54.91) to help lead Oak Park to a dominant regional meet victory. Oak Park girls track and field is vying for a third consecutive Division 1 state championship as a team.
Celeste Davis, track and field, Detroit Renaissance: The senior runner and jumper helped Detroit Renaissance finish second behind Oak Park in the Rochester regional meet. Davis set a personal record in the long jump with a distance of 10-feet, 10.25-inches (5.75 meters), which is the top recorded long jump distance in the state for the girls season.
Ellera Jakubowski, soccer, Utica Eisenhower: The junior midfielder/forward had four goals and two assists across two league games for Utica Eisenhower, which finished one point above Romeo to secure the MAC Red conference championship. She assisted on a corner kick and then tapped in a cross against Macomb Dakota on May 12, followed by three of Eisenhower's first four goals in a 5-0 win over Macomb L'Anse Creuse North on May 14.
Jhoshi Prasath, tennis, Troy: The sophomore No. 2 singles player for Troy dropped only one game across three matches of her singles regional bracket May 15. Prasath received a bye as the top-ranked No. 2 singles player in her region. She won her first set 6-1, followed by winning the next five sets 6-0 to cruise to the regional title. Prasath was a part of Troy's No. 3 doubles team that finished as runners-up in 2024.
