Ana de Armas enters Call of Duty Black Ops 6 as Eve Macarro from Ballerina movie

Ana de Armas joins Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as Eve Macarro in a Ballerina crossover. The mid-season Tracer Pack includes two character skins, themed weapons, and a special event from June 5 to June 12. The bundle drops alongside the film's release.

New Delhi: Watching movies like Knives Out, Ghosted, and No Time to Die, I have always thought, “Ana de Armas would make a terrific videogame assassin.” Turns out the Call of Duty team had the same idea. Activision is sliding the Cuban-Spanish star straight into Black Ops 6 Season 4, and it’s doing it at Hollywood speed, just hours before her spin-off film Ballerina hits theatres.

The main season goes live on 29 May at 9 AM PT, which is 9:30 PM IST, but Ana’s big moment lands during the mid-season “Tracer Pack: Ballerina” drop (scheduled for the week of the movie’s 6 June release). That bundle lets players run around Verdansk as de Armas’s alter-ego, Eve Macarro, and yes, the dress is included.

The crossover pack gives two operator skins:

  • “Eve Macarro” – a bright red sequin dress that looks wildly impractical yet perfect for highlight-reel clips.
  • “Ruska Rogue” – a black tactical outfit for folks who prefer stealth over sparkle.

Players also pick up three weapon blueprints. Activision’s blog lists them verbatim: “the Relevé AK-74 Assault Rifle, Plié Saug SMG, and the Arabesque 9 MM pistol.” Add a “Dance With Death” finishing move and you’ve got a loadout straight out of a John Wick choreographer’s notebook.

No rupee price is confirmed, but past film tie-ins have hovered at $25, roughly ₹2,125 with today’s exchange rate of ₹85 per dollar.

Timed to a busy season

Ana’s cameo arrives in the middle of an already stacked update:

  • Five new multiplayer maps, including the Iceland-set Shutdown and a reimagined Fringe from Black Ops 3.
  • Team Elimination, a lives-based spin on Kill Confirmed, and the return of One in the Chamber.
  • Grief mode in Zombies: eight players, two teams, zero direct damage, maximum trolling.
  • The Grim Reaper scorestreak for anyone who misses the original 2010 launcher.
  • Warzone’s Downtown Verdansk gets a towering new skyscraper called The Overlook; Clash 52-v-52 also makes a comeback.

A quick detour into film land

Activision will run a limited-time “Ballerina” event from 5 to 12 June, dropping ten free rewards across Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. One of those is the new Essex Model 07 marksman rifle; BlackCell owners snag an extra nunchuck blueprint for going full martial-arts-ballet.

The studio hasn’t said how long Ana will stay in the store rotation, and past tie-ins (The Boys, Dune) disappeared fast. So if you want to spin-kick enemies in Verdansk wearing a red dress, maybe set a phone reminder.

I’m not sure de Armas herself plays CoD, but she’d probably enjoy the chaos. Either way, Black Ops 6 just found a flashy way to steal some limelight from the summer movie rush, and my squad’s group chat is already arguing over who gets to buy the bundle first.
