‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Cast Through Both Seasons: From Tranquillium House To Zauberwald

She leads the charge in psychedelic mushroom research, experimenting on groups of nine people with the substance to help them heal.

Kidman has recently appeared in Holland (2025), Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness, Babygirl (2024), Netflix’s The Perfect Couple as Greer Garrison-Winbury and more. She will soon appear in Apple’s TV adaptation of Margot’s Got Money Troubles. She won an Oscar for her performance in The Hours (2002).

Imogen is the daughter of Victoria, and they are attending the retreat to work on their relationship.

Annie Murphy is known for portraying Alexi in the Emmy-winning sitcom Schitt’s Creek. She also played Morgan in The Plateaus, and she voiced Chelsea Van Der Zee in Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (2023). More recently, Murphy played Joan Tait in Black Mirror.

Peter Shah is attending the retreat with his father.

Henry Golding is known for playing Sean Townsend in A Simple Favor (2019) and in Another Simple Favor (2025). He starred as Nick Young in the film adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asians (2018), as Dry Eye in The Gentlemen (2019), Snake Eyes in Snake Eyes (2021) and as Tom in Last Christmas (2019).

Dramatic actress Christine Baranski portrays Victoria, mother of Annie Murphy’s Imogen O’Claire. She was asked to come to the retreat by her daughter, but she also brings young beau Matteo (Aras Aydin).

Baranski is most well known for playing Tanya in the Mamma Mia! Films, Mary Sunshine in Chicago (2002) and the Stepmother in Into the Woods (2014). She can next be seen in Season 3 of HBO’s The Gilded Age arriving June 22.

Wolfie is Tina’s partner, and she asked Tina to come on the retreat.

Maisie Richardson-Sellers is known for portraying Chloe Winthrop in The Kissing Booth 2 (2020) and The Kissing Booth 3 (2021), Charlie in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Eva Sinclair in The Originals, Kathy Freeman in The Undeclared War, Billie in Jagged Mind (2023) and more.

Brian has an interesting arrival to Zauberwald, as one of his suitcases gets stuck in the gondola on the way up the mountain, and he gets very frustrated as a result. He also shares a car with Imogen on the way up.

Bartlett is most well-known for playing hotel manager Armond in Season 1 of HBO’s The White Lotus. He also starred as Frank in an episode of HBO’s The Last of Us in Season 1.

Tina (centered above) is Wolfie’s partner, and she came on the retreat at the suggestion of her girlfriend.

King Princess is a musician known for hit songs like “1950.” The American singer and songwriter is making her acting debut in Season 2 of Nine Perfect Strangers. She will also soon appear in the musical drama Song Sung Blue alongside Hugh Jackman, Kate Hudson, Michael Imperiolo, Fisher Stevens and Jim Belushi among others.

Sister Agnes is a very famous nun who has decided to attend the retreat as a way to rediscover her purpose.

De Leon is known for playing Jill Sebastian in Ang duyan ng magiting (2023), Rita in Ghostlight (2024), Grandma Tala in Jackpot! (2024) and Abigail in Triangle of Sadness (2022).

Helena is one of Masha’s oldest mentors, and they reunite in Season 2. Helena welcomes her student back into the fold to help her experiment further.

Olin is known for playing Irina Derevko in Alias, Sabina in The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), Josephine Muscat in Chocolat (2000) and Mona Demarkov in Romeo Is Bleeding (1993).

Mark Strong portrays Peter’s (Henry Golding) father, who is late to the retreat.

Strong is known for appearing as George in Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Merlin in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Dr. Sivana in Shazam! (2019) and Captain Smith in 1917 (2019).

Matteo (centered above) is along for the ride with Christine Baranski’s Victoria.

Aras Aydin is known for playing Emre Yigit in Cherry Season, Baris in Oglan Bizim Kiz Bizim (2016), Fadil in Runaway and Alp Karahuyn in Ikimizin Sirri.

Martin is the pharmacologist who assists Masha at Zauberwald. He is the numbers and data guy to Masha’s intuition and instincts.

Lucas Englander is known for playing Albert Hirschman in Transatlantic, Ian in The House (2022), Torsten Muckenstrum in Parlement and Jonas Karez in Appearances (2020).

Melissa McCarthy’s Frances Welty was a guest in Season 1 at Masha’s first retreat. She is an author. McCarthy’s husband Ben Falcone also guest starred in a few episodes of Season 1.

McCarthy is known for playing Mullins in The Heat (2013), Tammy in Tammy (2014), Megan in Bridesmaids (2011) and Susan Cooper in Spy (2015). She more recently portrayed Ursula in Disney’s The Little Mermaid (2023) live action remake.

Lars Lee, a journalist, was a guest in Season 1.

Luke Evans is known for playing Vlad in Dracula Untold (2014), Gaston in Disney’s live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast (2017), Bard in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and Shaw in Fast and Furious 6.

Tony Hogburne was a former football player who had a lot of concussions, so his healthy journey at the Season 1 retreat was a bit different from others. He also struck up a flame with Melissa McCarthy’s Frances Welty.

Bobby Cannavale is known for playing Joe Oramas in The Station Agent (2003), Chili in Blue Jasmine (2013), Jake Fernandez in Parker (2013) and Paxton in Ant-Man (2015). More recently, he has appeared in Blonde (2022), in The Watcher as Dean Brannock, in MaXXXine (2024) as Detective Torres and in Incoming (2024) as Mr. Studebaker .

Carmel visited Masha’s retreat in Season 1.

Regina Hall is known for playing Ryan Pierce in Girls Trip (2017), Kelly Rice in Law Abiding Citizen (2009) and Brenda in the Scary Movie franchise.

Ben attended the Season 1 wellness retreat with his partner Jessica (Samara Weaving).

Melvin Gregg is known for playing Marcus Parrish in The Way Back (2020), Erick Scott in High Flying Bird (2019), DeMarcus Tillman in American Vandal (2018) and Drew ‘Manboy’ Miller in Snowfall.

Jessica was a guest at Season 1’s retreat with her partner Ben (Melvin Gregg). They wanted to work on their relationship.

Weaving is known for playing Grace in Ready or Not (2019), Penelop in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2021), Nix in Guns Akimbo (2019) and Melanie Cross in Mayhem (2017).

Michael Shannon’s Napoleon Marconi visited Masha’s wellness retreat in Season 1. He brought his wife Heather (Asher Keddie) and daughter Zoe (Grace Van Patten) in the hopes of healing after the death of his son and Zoe’s brother Zach (Hal Cumpston).

Shannon is known for playing John Givings in Revolutionary Road (2008), Curtis in Take Shelter (2011), Rick Carver in 99 Homes (2014) and Richard Strickland in The Shape of Water (2017). More recently, he has appeared as George Jones in George & Tammy and as Zipco in The Bikeriders (2023).

Heather Marconi attended Masha’s wellness retreat in Season 1 with her husband Napoleon (Michael Shannon) and her daughter Zoe (Grace Van Patten) after the death of her son Zach (Hal Cumpston).

Asher Keddie is known for playing Dr. Carol Frost in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Julia Jackson in Love My Way, Nina Proudman in Offspring and Ita Buttrose in Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo. More recently, she portrayed Sally Morgan in Prime Video’s The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Birdie Bell in Fake, Renee Lum in Plum and Evelyn Jones in Strife.

Zoe Marconi attended the retreat in Season 1 with her parents Napoleon (Michael Shannon) and Heather (Asher Keddie) after her brother Zach died.

Van Patten now leads Hulu’s Tell Me Lies series, based on the book by Carolina Lovering, as Lucy Albright. She is also known for playing Ana in Mayday (2021), Eliza in The Meyerowitz Stories (2017), Balloon Girl in Under the Silver Lake (2018) and Lilian in Good Posture (2019).

Delilah was on staff at the Season 1 wellness retreat.

Tiffany Boone is known for playing Roxy Jones in Hunters, Jerrika Little in The Chi, a younger version of Kerry Washington’s Mia Warren in Little Fires Everywhere and Mandy Lang in The Following. More recently, she voiced Sarabi in Mufasa: The Lion King, and she can be seen as Gwen Fontaine in The Big Cigar.

Yao was also on staff at the wellness retreat in Season 1.

Manny Jacinto is known for playing Jason Mendoza in The Good Place, Logan in I Want You Back (2022) and Lt. Billy ‘Fritz’ Avalone in Top Gun: Maverick (2022). More recently, he has played The Stranger in The Acolyte, Elliot in Ballestra (2024) and more.
