With Nikki Bella having made her WWE return on this week's Raw, it looks as if the Flawless One could soon be joined by her twin sister Brie.

As first reported by TMZ Sports, a source with "direct knowledge" of the situation told the outlet that Brie Bella is currently in talks to step out of retirement to provide back-up for Nikki at the upcoming Evolution PLE.

This report states that Brie is "pissed" about Liv Morgan referencing Nikki's split from Artem Chigvintsev following a domestic violence arrest last August that eventually led to the couple's divorce.

For those who missed this week's Raw, Nikki Bella cut an in-ring promo talking about the great women nowadays on the WWE roster. That promo was interrupted by an irate Liv Morgan - Liv being angry that Nikki didn't name-drop her - who ended the segment by hitting Nikki with the Oblivion to leave the WWE Hall of Fame lying.

While it's yet to be made official, the expectation is that we'll be getting some sort of Liv Morgan vs. Nikki Bella match when Evolution rolls around on July 13. Whether that's a straight-up singles match or not remains to be seen, but this could quite easily become a tag bout pitting Liv and Raquel Rodriguez up against the returning Bella Twins - possibly even with Morgan and Rodriguez's WWE Women's Tag Team Titles on the line.

Back Into The Ring For The Bellas

In the case of Nikki Bella, she last wrestled as part of this year's women's Royal Rumble, and before that, she'd made an appearance in the 2022 Rumble. In terms of non-Rumble outings, the former two-time Divas Champion last laced them up to face Ronda Rousey in the main event of the first Evolution PLE back in 2018, which was followed by a handful of house show dates against Ronda and Natalya.

Where Brie Bella is concerned - herself likewise a former Divas Champion - she was also a part of that 2022 Royal Rumble, where she was actually the one to eliminate Nikki. Away from that, Brie's most recent match was a six-woman Raw match a month before Evolution, where she teamed with her sister and Ronda Rousey in a win over the Riott Squad.

Both Bellas have made comments in recent years that they'd be open to returning to the ring under the right scenario, and they've also mentioned at several points how they'd like to get their hands on the Women's Tag Titles. Could we see those belts on the line against the Bella Twins at Evolution next month? Right now, that seems like a very real possibility.

As for WWE Evolution 2, the only advertised match at this stage is that NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne will be defending her gold against a to-be-determined opponent.
