LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, May 15, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- WHO: Executive Vice President of Production for Marvel Studios Victoria Alonso will serve as the keynote speaker, drawing on her experiences as a Latina and a female senior executive of films such as “The Avengers” and “Avengers: Endgame.” Celebrities, media, and the public will view this year’s finalist films after a pink carpet reception. Event sponsors include The Kennedy/Marshall Company, Mark Gordon & Sally Whitehill, CBS Entertainment Diversity & Inclusion, Atlas Entertainment, Pearl Street Films, Everywhere Studios, Ptarmigan Films, and Dinky Pictures.

WHAT: Entertainment industry professionals will join The Archer School for Girls to present the Archer Film Festival, one of the only all-inclusive global high school events dedicated to empowering female filmmakers. “Our goal is not to exclude men, but rather to include women,” the event’s organizers say. This year, young filmmakers submitted over 700 student-produced films from 57 countries. Ten of these films will be screened at this student-organized and student-run pink carpet gala.
